Be band
A couple weeks ago, we were at Target. Our main goal was to get some winter clothing for the boy. Sarah (guildylocks) and David (Shinobi) were also looking for blinds for their new house. We thought we’d all go together and hit all these stores. Anyway we’re at Target and I’m busy looking for winter shoes for the boy. And Sarah comes up to me with thing call the BeBand. What’s the hell is a BeBand?
“The BeBand is a lightweight maternity band that is worn over your pre-pregnancy and maternity jeans, pants, skirts, and shorts”
I was so skeptic. . . to a point where Sarah said if I don’t use it she would use it when she was prego (not that she’s announcing anything). It was $16.99 + tax. What the hell, I bought it.
Well this morning, I’ve scrambling for pants and my stomach is getting bigger. So I busted open the band and put my work pants on. . .and went to work. And you know what, it felt weird not being able to button them up but overall it was GOOD. That’s right, I’m saying to the world wide web, that SARAH WAS RIGHT!!!!
I did accidentally wear the band inside out. . oops.
I need to go get some good maternity jeans . . . maybe a couple pairs. But maternity clothes are so dang expensive and you only wear it for x-number of months. Boo!!!
Did I mention Sarah was right. .yeah she was!! Totally.
KOHLS–do they have them in UT? Cuz I got my whole work wardrobe there, and they always have some sort of sale going. I got mine when it was buy one get one free.
Also, I found a good selection at Gordman’s a few weeks ago, but I’m so close to done, I couldn’t justify spending 30 bucks on jeans I’d wear for 5 weeks.
But that band is awesome for the early part of pregnancy. I wore my pre-preggo clothes until just about a month ago. Now I’m all about comfort, not cute.
Three more weeks……….
