Dang, this weekend was exhausting!

If you don’t know, I’m on the presidency council of the local salt water fish club, Wasatch Marine Aquarium Society (WMAS). At the beginning of the year, our president decided to do a all day conference. I will have to admit, I was against it even though I approached the previous president with the idea. At the beginning of the year, the club couldn’t afford a new projector and we wanted to take on a all day conference. Insane!

So I disconnected myself from the huge day and let the big wigs handle the details. I would be there to help that day but nothing major.

I did feel really bad. I mean, I volunteered, I shouldn’t be turning my back on something even if I’m against it.

On Saturday, I was late but helped the most I could. Being prego sucks the energy right out of you. And it’s not like I can chug down a coke and be back on track.

We had a huge raffle at the end of the show. I was agonizing all day to buy 100 raffle tickets to put in one of the three nano tanks. 1. I think it’s kind of lame for the presidency members to win raffle prizes and 2. Each raffle ticket would be $1, so I’d be forking over $100 dollars for a small chance to win an awesome system. At the end of the day, I wrote the check and took the 100 tickets to the one system that I thought was the best to try to win. I figure the money, goes to a great club so I should just stop bitching bout how much it was.

I ended up winning the new system!

After spending all day at the conference, I think I got home around 10pm and started mixing start water around 12am. . took a nap on the couch and finally around 2am went to bed.

Got sand and water in the system the next day.

I forgot that having a tank is fun!
