Next project – for the Pops

So I got into sewing and mainly make quilts (I should branch out more).

Pepper & Grandpa

(Photo taken last year, Pepper’s like almost 2yrs old now)

Anyways, one day while I was thinking about quilts and who to make one for. . .I thought I should make a quilt for my dad. He’s a simple man and rarely asks for anything. So I did a fabric pull for his quilt last night:

Night owl

Ah yes. . if you’re a fabric nerd, then you know this is one of the latest lines from Robert KaufmanStockholm by Robin Zingone.

I’m going to use Kati’s awesome Print Gallery pattern, have you seen hers?

Fabric Pull

I’m going to cut the fabric up tonight and get it ready for Sew Saturday (it’s where our guild gets together and sew for about 6hrs, how much sewing gets done really?)

Comments

  1. I have been hoarding fabrics for this same kind of quilt! This was my inspiration but with a border around it.
